NEW FLEXIBLE RENTAL SCHEME FROM PALS CUTS THE COST OF LABELLING
PALS Labelling, a leading UK designer, developer and manufacturer of labelling systems, has launched a new rental scheme that offers customers a flexible method of benefiting from the latest PALS technology without the requirement for capital outlay. In addition, the new scheme is ideal for customers that require low volume labelling or who are carrying out pack prototyping or market testing.
The new rental plan, which is available with all of the company's comprehensive range of standard machines, including both semi-automatic and automatic applicators and integrated in-line systems, offers customers numerous benefits. In particular, with a start-up rental of just three months, the new scheme is extremely flexible, allowing customers to rent on a short or long term basis for the labelling of products ranging from morning goods, dairy products and health foods, to pharmaceuticals, toiletries and cosmetics.
For both in-plant and contract packing operations, the new scheme enables companies to produce short runs of high quality labelled products at low cost, for projects such as product promotions, promotional labelling or where existing labelling equipment is already employed or fixed for a different size or direction of label. Perhaps as importantly, the new scheme also enables start-up companies that cannot afford to invest heavily in new equipment to utilise the latest in labelling technology as part of a flexible production facility.
Simon Stuttard, Director of Sales at PALS, explains, “The new machine rental scheme has been introduced at the request of a number of customers who were looking for cost effective ways of entering the packaging and labelling sector or who needed short tem extensions to their existing labelling operations. It differs from many of those available from other suppliers in that we do not oblige customers to purchase equipment at the end of a specified period and, perhaps as importantly, we provide full technical and applications support throughout the rental period”.
